The Gimpo Goldline opened on 28 September 2019 to improve public transportation between Gimpo and the Seoul metropolitan area. This fully automated light metro system provides fast connections to Seoul Metro and other regional rail networks, making daily commuting easier for thousands of passengers. Despite its compact size, it plays an important role in the region's growing transport infrastructure.
