A large, detailed map of the Dhaka metro system in Bangladesh. The map shows the various metro lines in the capital, along with the names of the stations. It also shows the planned metro extensions.
The history of the Dhaka Metro began in 2022 with the opening of the city's first metro line. Built to ease severe traffic congestion and improve public transportation, the system represents a major step in the modernization of Bangladesh's capital. Additional lines are under construction and planned, with the goal of creating a comprehensive rapid transit network that will connect key districts and support the city's growing population.
